The Arizona Cardinals are adding a wide receiver.

After two days of free agency the Arizona Cardinals have done quite a bit of buying from the bargain bin and their addition at wide receiver is no different.

Ian Rapoport is reporting the Arizona Cardinals will sign former Chicago Bears first round pick Kevin White to a contract.

White was the seventh overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft and has been completely derailed in his career by injuries.

Since he was drafted in 2015 White has played in only 14 games, getting five starts.

He missed his entire rookie campaign with a stress fracture in his leg that required surgery.

In 2016, White started the first four games of the season, and put up 19 catches for 187 yards, but fractured his left fibula during the fourth game and went on IR.

In 2017, White fractured his scapula in the Bears first game of the season. He had two catches for six yards.

In 2018, White’s healthiest season, he was only active for nine games, and produced four catches for 92 yards.

The former first round pick was a big favorite of the draft community because of his size, speed and ability after the catch.

He was a game changer at West Virginia where he played in an Air Raid style offense, so maybe the move to Arizona and with Kliff Kingsbury it will give him a chance to turn his career around.
