Three free agent defensive linemen who could make sense for the Arizona Cardinals

The second wave of free agency is on its way and hopefully the Arizona Cardinals will be somewhat involved.

Not because they have massive needs left, they do as both John and Tyler explained, but because there are some great bargains that could help the Arizona Cardinals continue to build a competent roster for 2019.

Here are three along the defensive line that could be immediate starters for the Arizona Cardinals in 2019.

Timmy Jernigan, DT: Jernigan did his best work with the Baltimore Ravens in their attacking 34 defense. Getting teamed back up with Terrell Suggs as well as Jordan Hicks who he helped get a fat contract with the Cardinals.

Allen Bailey, DE: Bailey is an older player and could be a perfect one to two year type of deal. He’s well versed in a 34 defense and is coming off one of his better seasons.

Domata Peko, DT: This is the move we have been expecting since free agency started and maybe Steve Keim is keeping it in his back pocket in case he can’t find something better and younger than Peko. The 34 year old Peko had a nice season for the Denver Broncos and Vance Joseph’s defense.
