Arizona Cardinals 7 Round Mock Draft

Bob DeChiara-USA TODAY Sports

The Cardinals are pretty much done making moves in free agency with the amount of cap space they have left so lets look forward to the draft

Remaining needs: Edge, Defensive Line, Wide Receiver, Guard, Tackle, Cornerback, Tight End, Safety

Round One Pick One: Nick Bosa, Edge, Ohio State

Cardinals stick with the best and most gifted player in the draft with about the same measurables as Sizzle. He can learn from Sizzle in year one and take over full time after that.

Round Two Pick One: N'Keal Harry, Wide Receiver, Arizona State

Keim wants more home grown talents around who love the game as he has shown in the last two years with Kirk, Sizzle, and Hundley so he wastes no time to pick up a projected first round receiver who fell to the second.

Round Three Pick One: Chris Lindstrom, Guard, Boston College

Cardinals pick up help at guard with Lindstrom who will fight with Pugh or Sweezy for the starting spot from day one. Cardinals fill a big need with final day two pick.

Round Four Pick One: Tytus Howard, Tackle, Alabama State

Cardinals get a tackle who has the right frame and good hands with their first day three pick. He could sit behind Gilbert for a year and take over the next year.

Round Five Pick One: Alijah Holder, Cornerback, Stanford

Cardinals bring in a cornerback who is a consistent tackler inside and can fight for the slot cornerback job with whoever Keim brings in later. He is more of a project pick because he can flash at times but has sometimes failed to be consistent in coverage.

Round SIx Pick One: Foster Moreau, Tight End, LSU

Cardinals get a tight end who was limited in college with LSU's offensive scheme but has flashed his potential at times. He is also a decent blocking Tight End like Charley Clay who can help set up deeper passes in Kliff Kingsbury's offensive system.

Round Six Pick Six: Ed Alexander, Defensive Line, LSU

Cardinals bring in a Nose Tackle with similar attributes to Corey Peters. He only flashed in one game last season but that game was against Alabama where he hat seven tackles and a sack in a losing effort.

Round Seven Pick Thirty Four: Jojo Mcintosh, Safety, Washington

Cardinals get more of a strong safety with limited coverage skills who can maybe step in at strong safety and have DJ Swearinger move to free safety when Budda Baker is playing slot corner on third down.

Round Seven Pick Thirty Five: Terry Buckner Jr, Defensive Line, Missouri

Cardinals get a versatile defensive line player who could bloom into a sack artist. He had a down year hast year with only for sacks but had seven the previous year. He has ideal size for modern NFL Defensive Linemen as well.

Round Seven Pick Forty: Terry Godwin, Wide Receiver, Georgia

With the Mr. Irrelevant pick, the Cardinals draft a receiver who slumped last year but had a pretty good 2017 year with about 650 receiving yards and six touchdowns. He mainly does his work in the slot which is a problem because Christin Kirk does his work in the slot too. Don't expect him to be a key contributor right away but with some patience, maybe this pick pays off.

This is my fist post so would you please mind to comment about what you thought about this mock draft
