Arizona Cardinals fans confident in direction of team with hire of Kliff Kingsbury, moves in free agency

NFL: Arizona Cardinals- Kliff Kingsbury Press Conference The Republic-USA TODAY NETWORK

Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the offseason, we send 32 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Cardinals fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.

Confidence is a funny thing.

By the end of the last season the Arizona Cardinals fans were only 15% confident in their teams direction.

The Cardinals were just coming off their worst season in team history, had earned the first pick in the 2019 NFL Draft and were going to fire their first year coach, a huge no-no in the NFL.

Now, after hiring Kliff Kingsbury, retaining Steve Keim, revamping the coaching staff and beginning to rebuild the roster, Cardinals fans are more confident in the direction of their team.

We reintroduced the SB Nation NFL FanPulse and they answered the question, how confident are you in the direction of your team: 61% said they were confident in the direction of the Arizona Cardinals after the start of the offseason.

Now, the question becomes does that confidence grow or shrink over the next 27 days.

The next 27 days are sure to shape the Arizona Cardinals future, one way or the other, depending on want they do with the first pick.

It’s going to be interesting to see how Arizona Cardinals fans feel about their teams direction on April 26th.
