Well… the Arizona Cardinals definitely didn’t get any favors with the schedule and their new head coach.
The Arizona Cardinals play 11 games in 70 days, before finishing with a hellacious five game stretch in December.
If things don’t get off on the right foot under Kliff Kingsbury, there won’t be a long stretch to get things right until their 10 day break between their Thursday Night Football game against the San Francisco 49ers and their trip to Tampa Bay to take on Bruce Arians and the Buccaneers.
It will be imperative that the Cardinals get off to good start through their first five games as well.
The stretch of Atlanta, at New York, at New Orleans and then home against the 49ers on a short week is going to be a massive test for a first time NFL head coach.
The schedule is ranked 15th based on last year’s results, but the way the games fell, the Cardinals need to get off to a good start this season, or that Las Vegas win total of five is going to be hard to meet down the stretch.
