Arizona Cardinals 2019 schedule tells us what the NFL wants in their prime time games

NFL: San Francisco 49ers at Arizona Cardinals Matt Kartozian-USA TODAY Sports

The 2019 NFL schedule tells us one thing…

The league wants more games like last seasons Kansas City Chiefs at Los Angeles Rams.

The NFL has been moving more and more towards a league based around the pass, based around offensive highlights and based on putting on a show.

It’s why the Arizona Cardinals went out and got Kliff Kingsbury and it’s why I truly believe that Kyler Murray is even being talked about at the top of the 2019 NFL Draft.

There’s only one thing worse than being bad… being boring.

The teams that were boring in 2018 are being hidden from the national audience in 2019.

The four worst passing offenses in the league got three prime time games between the four of them.

The Miami Dolphins were the only team of the four to play on a day other than Thursday, as they were gifted a Monday Night Football game on the road to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers.

No, the Cardinals and the rest of the NFL teams who couldn’t throw the football in 2018 are nothing more than just an afterthought to the nation.

The crazy thing is, the Buffalo Bills finished 6-10, the Miami Dolphins 7-9 and the Tennessee Titans were 9-7. So, it’s not like they all had terrible 2018 seasons.

No, it’s just the way the NFL works now.

If you’re not entertaining, no one wants to watch you.
