It took a lot of time, but the Arizona Cardinals have finally made their pick.
With the first pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals have selected Kyler Murray, the Heisman winning Oklahoma Sooners quarterback.
Murray, started 14 games in his Heisman winning season for the Sooners, putting up record setting numbers for the Sooners:
260/377 69% 4,361 yards 42 touchdowns 7 INT
140 rushing attempts 1001 yards 12 touchdowns
He was one of the most efficient quarterbacks in the nation as well.
Murray is one of the most accomplished quarterback prospects of the last decade, on the field.
Draftniks will overly scrutinize every minute detail of each prospect, but Kyler Murray is pure perfection. Pretty rare when you see a perfectly symmetrical spider chart. If Arizona doesn't take him, they're doomed to fail for years to come. From @PFF: pic.twitter.com/OxRbVUHLQQ

For the Cardinals, it is an incredible leap of faith and move. Moving on from Josh Rosen after one season is something that takes a lot of intestinal fortitude.
Kliff and Kyler will create a must see product and give the Arizona Cardinals something they have lacked the last several years.
Now, let’s see if it leads to wins.
Congratulations to Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals, and good luck.
