With their second pick of the seventh round, the Arizona Cardinals have selected Michael Dogbe, Defensive Lineman, Temple.
Dogbe, 6 foot 3 inches and 284 lbs, Michael was a stalwart on the Owls’ defensive line, leading the team in sacks, TFL, assists and forced fumbles in his final season.
In his senior season he was allowed to change his jersey to #9 - a prestigious honor, as Temple only allows single digit jersey numbers to the 9 toughest members of the team.
Dogbe is a dog, despite the small frame, he is one of the strongest players in the draft:
Dogbe set the tone this summer in the weight room, where he has performed tremendous feats. For instance, his name is on the weight room wall for squatting 685 pounds, the most by a Temple defensive lineman. He has also bench-pressed 225 pounds 37 times, another school record for a defensive lineman.
