The Josh Rosen plot continues to thicken.
As I’ve been saying for the last week, the Arizona Cardinals have put no urgency behind trading Josh Rosen, and with that in mind, Rosen will be at the team’s initial offseason workouts, which begin on Monday.
Despite being the subject of rampant trade speculation, Arizona QB Josh Rosen is expected to report to and participate in the start of the Cardinals’ off-season workout program on Monday. Some players who have been subject of trade speculation have declined to report to workouts.

This should not surprise anyone. The Arizona Cardinals have a price. You pay the price or the reality is that Rosen is not available.
Plus, the Cardinals still have not engaged in active trade discussions to date on Josh Rosen. Other teams have asked about him, but to date, the Cardinals have not shown a willingness to trade him. To date....

Now, how does that affect their use of the first pick in the 2019 NFL Draft? Well that is the part no one can quite figure out.
The team has been narrowed down to three players for the first pick if they don’t get the trade down haul they desire.
Which means that they are moving forward with the idea that Josh Rosen is their quarterback in 2019… until he’s not.
It makes sense to do it that way.
Rosen is the quarterback of the team until he’s not. He’ll be at offseason workouts until he’s not part of the team. It seems like a no brainer at this point, but it’s chaos and people don’t like chaos.
