For the Arizona Cardinals, deciding who to take with first pick in the 2019 NFL Draft is a decision that will and should shape the future for the team.
It should be in a positive way, but the NFL is a fickle bitch and if the Cardinals do the wrong thing, they’ll feel it for a while.
So, their expedition through the last couple of months should not surprise anyone.
Last week, they even had two players come in together, two of the three potential first picks in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Big day for the #AZCardinals as they explore options for the No. 1 overall pick: #Bama DT Quinnen Williams and #OSU DE Nick Bosa are both on 30 visits to Arizona today, source said. Both players are among those currently in the mix for the top selection, along with Kyler Murray.

Having in Quinnen Williams and Nick Bosa together makes sense. The Arizona Cardinals have to figure out what they need. They also need to figure out who will be willing to put the work in that’s needed.
More than anything recently, Steve Keim has struggled to hit on the person over the player. He’s struggled to find football players that love the game.
Putting Williams and Bosa in the same room, metaphorically, is going to show them a little something. The competitor in each player.
It also will give them a good picture of how bad each one wants to be the first pick of the Arizona Cardinals… not the first pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, but of the Arizona Cardinals.
We’ll see how it plays out, but it’s a three man race to the first pick.
