The Arizona Cardinals are getting their roster into shape.
Today, the team announced the signing of two undrafted free agents, cornerback Nate Brooks and running back Wes Hills. In addition, the team released nine players.

Brooks (6-0, 192) played at North Texas where he was a semifinalist for the Thorpe Award as the nation’s top defensive back after having six interceptions (third most in the FBS), 67 tackles, and 10 passes defensed while starting all 13 games in 2018. A Whitehouse, TX Native, Brooks was a four-year starter for the Mean Green and finished his career with 193 tackles, 10 interceptions, 29 passes defensed, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery in 48 games (41 starts). He was an all-Conference USA selection in both 2017 and 2018.
Hills (6-0, 218) played last season at Slippery Rock University after beginning his collegiate career at the University of Delaware. Selected as an All-American in 2018, he set a school record and finished third in Division II with 1,714 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns on 246 carries (6.9-yard avg.) in 12 games last season, helping Slippery Rock advance to the quarterfinals of the Division II playoffs. A Wildwood, NJ native, Hills ran for 200+ yards in three consecutive games and had seven total games of 150+ rushing yards last season. Prior to playing at Slippery Rock, Hills played three seasons at Delaware and was a two-time team captain, running for 1,849 yards and 14 touchdowns in 32 games.
