NFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

The Arizona Cardinals made it official, as the team announced signing Terrell McClain to a one-year contract.

In a corresponding move, the team released wide receiver Malachi Dupre.

From the team:

McClain (6-2, 302) is an eight-year NFL veteran who has played with Atlanta (2018), Washington (2017), Dallas (2014-16), Houston (2012-13) and Carolina (2011) since entering the league with the Panthers as a third-round selection (65th overall) in the 2011 NFL Draft out of South Florida. He has appeared in 87 career games (34 starts) and totaled 127 tackles (84 solo), 7.5 sacks, 12 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries. The 30-year old McClain played in 13 games (five starts) last season with the Falcons and had 17 tackles and one sack.

Dupre saw five snaps as an Arizona Cardinal, the only regular season NFL snaps in his career.

Good luck to Dupre in the next steps of his career.

Welcome aboard Terrell McClain.
