I am one of those madden players who just downlowds a file with players teams drafted and signed in free agency before madden 20 comes out and I was thinking about what the Cardinals rookie ratings would be. Here are my predictions for ratings on Arizona Cardinals rookies.
Kyler Murray: 81 Overall, Star Development
Lamar Jackson got an 80 and quick development last year and I think Murray will get higher than him and 1 lower than Bayer Mayfield's 82. Maybe his quickness could bring his rating up more but throw power really contributes to the rating and I think he only has about 92 throw power compared to Rosen's 96 and Mayfield's 95.
Byron Murphy: 77 Overall, Quick Development
He is a very quick and hard hitting corner who will have a high zone coverage rating. This is what Josh Jackson got last year as a rookie for the Packers and I think that he will get about the same thing.
Andy Isabella: 75 Overall, Quick Development
He will have a rating like Phillip Dorsett and his rating will likely improve if he shows that he has better hands that Dorsett. I think that Isabella could be a special player if he learns to not get jammed at the line of scrimmage.
Zach Allen: 76 Overall, Quick Development
He is going to be a run stopper DE who will likely have the highest DE rating on the Cardinals from the start. I think that he will have a similar rating to Robert Nkemdeche had his rookie year.
Hakeem Butler: 76 Overall, Quick Development
He will likely have a similar rating to Courtland Sutton and I think that he just needs to get his catching rating up to around an 85 as his spectacular catch rating will be in about the top 10% of the league.
Deionte Thompson: 72 Overall, Quick Development
Madden will likely not see much of him in camp because of that injury and he will likely have a quick development rating because he was thought of as a 2nd round prospect before his injury.
Lamond Gillard: 70 Overall, Normal Development
I think that he will have a better rating than Cole did because of his strength and he will probably have a better guard rating.
KeeShawn Johnson: 70 Overall, Normal Development
It will be very hard for him to make the final 53 man roster because of the amount of talent on that receiving core but will have a rating similar to Robert Foster.
