Get to know the Arizona Cardinals undrafted free agents: Louisiana Tech defensive lineman Immanuel Turner

NCAA Football: Louisiana Tech at Texas Tech Michael C. Johnson-USA TODAY Sports

The Arizona Cardinals brought in 12 undrafted free agents following the 2019 NFL Draft. While they’ll have additional players in as tryout players, there are 12 they offered money to and signed.

Each day we will take a look at one or two of the players with a little background information on them.

Murray State quarterback Drew Anderson.

Maine tight end Drew Belcher.

Ohio State linebacker Dante Booker.

Wofford defensive tackle Miles Brown.

Rutgers offensive lineman Tariq Cole.

Pitt linebacker James Folston Jr.

Arkansas cornerback Ryan Pulley.

Boise State wide receiver A.J. Richardson.

North Carolina offensive lineman William Sweet.

Tonight, it is defensive lineman Immanuel Turner.

Louisiana Tech defensive lineman IMMANUEL TURNER (6-3, 287) totaled 58 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss and five sacks in 45 career games for the Bulldogs. A Magnolia, AR native, Turner played in 13 games and collected 36 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, four quarterback hurries and three sacks as a senior in 2018.

Lance Zierlein:

Try-hard base end with the thickness of frame that might allow for a projection inside to three-technique for a 4-3 team. Turner has good length and strength at the point of attack and teams will know that he is going to give maximum effort on every snap. However, he lacks functional agility and athleticism to make enough plays and his inability to charge up the pocket as a rusher could make finding a roster spot a long-shot.
