Will the Arizona Cardinals have any open practices for the 2019 training camp?

NFL: Arizona Cardinals-Minicamp Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Every season with the Arizona Cardinals we receive the anticipated training camp dates, open practices and of course information on the Red and White Scrimmage.

Every year we lament that training camp is no longer in Flagstaff, a respite from the July and August heat of the valley and in the end, make one or two long treks out to Glendale to see what the team may look like this upcoming season.

Well, it is the middle of June and we have no dates.

We have no announcements and we have no idea what is going on with training camp 2019 for the Arizona Cardinals other than they’ll have one.

This is the Kliff Kingsbury effect.

The secrecy, the gag order on the media for reporting what they are seeing at camp, all of it is planned to make sure that whatever the offense of the Arizona Cardinals may be, well it will first be seen by the Detroit Lions in September.

So that begs the question, are we going to see any open practices at training camp in the upcoming season?

The Cardinals are fairly routing with their announcements and how they run things, but last year we saw a large reduction in the number of open practices.

For the first season under Kingsbury, could we see or not see, any open practices sans the Red and White Scrimmage?

Does it matter to you?
