It has been quite the run for the Arizona Cardinals over the San Francisco 49ers. Since the 2014 season, when the Cardinals lost on December 28, 2014 in San Francisco 20-17, the Arizona Cardinals have rattled off eight straight wins.
In fact, the Cardinals since that loss, have pulled their all-time record against the 49ers to 26-29.
That is impressive, they are nearly .500 since falling to 18-29 in December of 2014.
While the Cardinals of course do not have the history of the 49ers, their history against the 49ers isn’t too bad, especially since they became division rivals.
The Cardinals are .500 against the 49ers since the division realignment in 2002.
However, they have been a guaranteed loss for the 49ers since the calendar turned to 2015.
Even in the Arizona Cardinals worst season in team history, they still were able to win two games against the 49ers.
Add to the fact the Cardinals wins over the 49ers did not hurt their chances to draft first and lead to them drafting Kyler Murray and the 49ers need to get a little revenge on the redbirds.
Of course, Cardinals fans don’t see that happening anytime soon.
