We’ve made it through two days of the Arizona Cardinals 2019 training camp and there has been more good than bad thus far.
Let’s get into today.
Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury said OLB Brooks Reed (hip) could be close to being activated of the PUP list.

They need Brooks Reed healthy, the defense is woefully thin at pass rusher, so Reed getting back is big.
Kliff Kingsbury, asked about his impressions of DL Robert Nkemdiche, who is on PUP recovering from ACL tear:
— Darren Urban (@Cardschatter) July 26, 2019
"Not in shape, I guess. That's kind of where we'll leave it."
Added they'll work with him when he's off PUP.
I think the sun is setting on Robert Nkemdiche in the desert. It’s disappointing.
Kingsbury: Was "not surprised" by Murray's accuracy on Day 1; wants to see Murray concentrate on "operation and comfort level and getting on the same page with those receivers"#CardsCamp

I mean, this seems obvious, but timing in the K-Raid is key to its success.

In former Cards news…
Meanwhile, as Brittan Golden was down, Giants LB Markus Golden was carted off to the locker room right past him. https://t.co/Vc4nDBy7Bx

Let’s hope it’s nothing.
Great catch by Andy Isabella on an underthrown bomb by Brett Hundley, beating Byron Murphy coverage. Not a bad Hundley pass, Isabella just outran it at first and had to come back.

Looks at notes…
Andy Isabella is fast.
DT Vincent Valentine down after a play. Looked like he was holding his right knee. Being helped off.

Speaking of thin, the Cardinals defensive line depth is made of paper mache.
Patrick Peterson with the nice over-the-shoulder INT on a deep Kyler Murray pass intended for Kirk.

Panic!!!
Christian Kirk with the great catch on the contested deep pass from Murray.

Never mind.
Cardinals CB Patrick Peterson on playing 3-4 defense again: “We're going to press a ton. I told D.J. (Swearinger), 'We pressed more in this practice (Thursday) than we did all of last season,' so we should be getting back to Cardinal football. I'm definitely excited about that."
— Bob McManaman (@azbobbymac) July 26, 2019
May be a minor thing, but it’s good to see Patrick Peterson excited about the team. He’s going to be a huge part of making sure the culture is focused again on winning.
Let’s hope Vince Valentine, Markus Golden and Brittan Golden are all healthy.
Anything stand out for you on day two of Cards camp?
Blake Murphy will be back out again tomorrow, so make sure you’re following along.
