The Arizona Cardinals and the rest of NFL are creating a huge hide and seek to celebrate the 100th NFL season.
From the team:
Starting next week the Arizona Cardinals Football Club will hide 100 customized “NFL 100” footballs in various locations around the state as part of their “Surprise and Delight” campaign to celebrate 100 years of NFL Football.
The first batch of footballs for discovery will be distributed on Monday, July 29 and the final footballs will be dispersed on the morning of Friday, August 2. The Cardinals are encouraging fans throughout the state to search for the footballs, which they can keep when they find them. Fans on social media can also post pictures to announce where they found a ball using #Cardinals100 and #NFL100.
The Cardinals will hide 97 standard NFL footballs with a customized painted panel featuring a club message. An additional three gold balls will be hidden, and those who locate them will win tickets to the Cardinals preseason home game against the Raiders on August 15th. One of the three gold ball recipients will also win 2019 season tickets.
In order to clue fans in to where the footballs are, the Cardinals are making a Google map available that shows the location within 100 feet. Fans are encouraged to follow Cardinals social media (on Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat @azcardinals) for these hints and a link to the map. All footballs will be outside and visible, at locations such as parks, landmarks, places of business and buildings.
Get out there and seek, Revenge of the Birds fans.
I’d love to see some photos from our readers who found one of the hidden footballs.
Good luck.
