With the offseason in full swing and the next biggest thing being the 2019 NFL Supplemental Draft.
After today, I have come to the conclusion that if Jalen Thompson, the safety out of Washington State was available, it would make sense for the Cardinals to throw no higher than a third round pick in for the player.
While the Cardinals have their starters at safety in house in D.J. Swearinger and Budda Baker, they lack a long term answer for behind Swearinger as well as a long term backup for both.
However, the Cardinals third round pick next year is likely to be inside the top 75, so they better be sure.
