The Arizona Cardinals moved quickly to at least bring in a body to replace the recently released Darius Philon.

The team announced that they have brought back defensive tackle Pasoni Tasini.

From the team:

Tasini (6-3, 307) played in one game for the Cardinals last year and had one tackle after spending the majority of the season on the team’s practice squad. He spent his rookie season on Arizona’s practice squad after originally joining the team in 2017 as an undrafted rookie free agent from Utah. He was released by the Cardinals on May 10.

Tasini will wear #96.

The team also announced that hurting players are back.

In addition, the team has activated tight end Charles Clay and cornerback Brandon Williams from the Physically Unable to Perform list (PUP).

We’ll see a little more from the offense now with Clay. We’ll also see what, if anything Brandon Williams has to offer this season.

Welcome back one and all.
