Injury news has been the foremost talk if Arizona Cardinals camp since the team announced the Robert Alford injury.
Now, as they prepare for their third preseason game, the most realistic of the preseason games they get a bit of good news on the injury front.
Starting guard Justin Pugh returned to practice for the first time since the opening of training camp and could even get some snaps on Saturday.

It’s a bit of good news on the heels of another injury, this one to rookie wideout Hakeem Butler, who could find his way onto the injured reserve.
The Cardinals need Pugh back in a number of ways.
First, they need Pugh healthy and available.
Second, they need the Pugh back that was one of the more talented left guards in the NFL.
Finally, they need a veteran in Pugh to help D.J. Humphries and A.Q. Shipley as the team tries to finally out together a serviceable offensive line.
Let’s hope Pugh can stay healthy the rest of the season.
