The Arizona Cardinals continue to churn the roster and the porous defensive line.
After adding Clinton McDonald and Siupeli Anau on Monday, they have released veteran defensive tackle Terrell McClain per a report.
Cardinals releasing DL Terrell McClain, who played for the Falcons last season, a source said. McClain was expected to be in rotation.

This is a bit surprising when you look at the depth chart and the fact that McClain was one of the few veteran defensive linemen on the roster, but apparently the addition of McDonald with the uptick in play from Zach Allen and Michael Dogbe made the Cardinals feel like McClain was expendable.
The Arizona Cardinals still have a number of open roster spots heading into the last game, before they have to cut down to 53, so even though they moved on from McClain now, it doesn’t mean the youngster’s should feel safe.
The Cardinals own the waiver wire, they also can offer something a number of teams cannot, an opportunity to play.
We’ll see how the first game depth chart looks, but as of now, it’s heavy on youth. Something the Cardinals have needed to step up for a while.
Good luck to McClain in his future endeavors.
