It started at the one yard line.
The Arizona Cardinals gave Kyler Murray the ball for the first time in his career backed all the way up and it seemed ominous.
Yet, everything we’ve heard about Murray and his mastery of this offense was on display early.
First, Kliff Kingsbury had to troll the fans a bit and run David Johnson up the middle for some fun, but from there the Kyler Murray show was on.
If not for a couple of mistakes around him, KeeSean Johnson stepping out of bounds and then catching a Murray pass, and D.J. Humphries and Marcus Gilbert forgetting to block, who knows what could have been.

The Cardinals showed on offense what they could be.
In the second quarter, with Brett Hundley behind center, we saw even more from what Kliff Kingsbury’s offense could be.
It lead to a Hundley to Trent Sherfield, who played extremely well, touchdown as the Arizona Cardinals would tie the game at 7-7 heading into the half.
In the second half, we saw Zane Gonzalez hit a 55-yard field goal, something important to see and the Cardinals take a 10-7 lead and never look back.
There were plenty of highlights in the game, but Tyler Sigler took an interception 52 yards down to the Arizona Cardinals 28, then it was the Wes Hills show.
Hills was showing a different running style than anyone else in the Cardinals backfield, with a bruising, between the tackles type of running. He finished with eight carries, 37 yards and a touchdown, that would put the Arizona Cardinals ahead 17-7.
The third and fourth string defense gave up some penalties and then inexplicably lost Easton Stick on a QB scramble to put the Chargers a bit closer at 17-13.
However, the story was the impressive start of Kyler Murray and Kliff Kingsbury’s offense.
