The yo-yo game of the final roster spot between Darrell Daniels and Jeremy Vujnovich continues.
The Arizona Cardinals announced today that they have elevated Daniels to the active roster and released Vujnovich.
This is the third week in a row in which one or the other has been released or signed.
From the team:
”Daniels (6-3, 246) was inactive for the Cardinals season opener vs. Detroit before re-signing to the practice squad. He appeared in two games (one start) with Arizona last season after joining the team off waivers from Seattle in Week 13. Prior to coming to Arizona, Daniels played nine games (two starts) last season with the Seahawks. He originally signed with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Washington in 2017 and had three receptions for 26 yards and three special teams tackles in 12 games (three starts) as a rookie.”
Daniels will wear jersey #81.
We will see if Daniels is even active on gameday or if this is just an insurance policy for Charles Clay/Maxx Williams heading into the game.
I guess we will see Jeremy back next week.
