2019 NFL Power Rankings Week 4: Patriots, Chiefs, Rams and Cowboys look like the four teams to beat

NFL: Preseason-Dallas Cowboys at Los Angeles Rams Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Three weeks into the NFL season and the question is... How many teams in the NFL are actually good?

I can count two.

The New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs.

Every other team seems to have major to minor issues.

Onto the 2019 week four NFL power rankings.

The Undefeated

I am big on early in the season to reward those who are playing well, even if I don’t buy anyone outside of the top four.

  1. New England Patriots (3-0)
  2. Kansas City Chiefs (3-0)
  3. Los Angeles Rams (3-0)
  4. Dallas Cowboys (3-0)
  5. Green Bay Packers (3-0)
  6. Buffalo Bills (3-0)
  7. San Francisco 49ers

The Flawed

There may be something that keeps these teams from making the leap, but some could be holding water til they get their QB back.

8. New Orleans Saints (2-1)

9. Houston Texans (2-1)

10. Baltimore Ravens (2-1)

11. Seattle Seahawks (2-1)

12. Detroit Lions (2-0-1)

13. Indianapolis Colts (2-1)

14. Minnesota Vikings (2-1)

15. Chicago Bears (2-1)

I am still buying in

16. Philadelphia Eagles (1-2)

17. Los Angeles Chargers (1-2)

18. Cleveland Browns (1-2)

No Idea

I don’t get some of these teams, I don’t understand how they flip flop week-to-week and don’t know where they end up. I could see playoffs, I could see top five picks, so honestly, I have no idea.

19. Atlanta Falcons (1-2)

20. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-2)

21. Tennessee Titans (1-2)

22. New York Giants (1-2)

23. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-2)

24. Carolina Panthers (1-2)

25. Oakland Raiders (1-2)

The Winless

We’ve seen glimpses, but nothing that says they are more than just a middling to less team.

26. Pittsburgh Steelers (0-3)

27. Arizona Cardinals (0-2-1) - Steelers get the nod because they seem to be trending up. The Cardinals need a good recovery this week or things could spiral quick.

28. Denver Broncos (0-3)

29. Washington Redskins (0-3)

The Hopeless

Maybe the Jets change when they get Sam Darnold back, but it could be worse, I guess that is what I have to remember.

30. Cincinnati Bengals (0-3)

31. New York Jets (0-3)

32. Miami Dolphins (0-3)
