Arizona Cardinals elevate Ryan Winslow to activate roster

There’s definitely some concern with Andy Lee.

The Arizona Cardinals elevated Ryan Winslow from the practice squad today, signaling that it is unlikely that Andy Lee will be active tomorrow.

From the team:

*Winslow (6-5, 217) signed with Arizona’s practice squad on Tuesday after spending preseason with the Cardinals where he punted 14 times for 656 yards (46.9-yard avg.). The 25-year old Winslow entered the NFL with Chicago last year as an undrafted rookie free agent from the University of Pittsburgh and was released following training camp. He was an All-ACC first-team selection as a senior in 2017 after leading the conference with a career-best 44.5-yard average on 57 punts."

"Winslow will wear jersey #9."

Winslow is obviously familiar with the Cardinals and their special teams, so it makes sense especially if it is only for a game or two.

Let’s hope he does as well as Lee has been doing since joining the Cardinals.
