Remember last week when the Arizona Cardinals released Jeremy Vujnovich and brought Darrell Daniels up to the active roster?
Well, they have changed things up, as the team announced today they are releasing Daniels and bringing back Jeremy Vujnovich.
From the team:
Vujnovich (6-5, 300) was released by the Cardinals on Saturday. He played five games (two starts) with Arizona last season after being claimed off waivers from Indianapolis following the preseason. He started all 16 games at left guard for the Colts in 2017 after playing two games with Indianapolis in 2016. A Louisiana College product, Vujnovich entered the league as an undrafted rookie free agent with the Packers in 2014 and spent his first two NFL seasons (2014-15) on Green Bay’s practice squad.
Vujnovich will wear jersey #68.
With the announcement that Marcus Gilbert will miss next week as well, you wonder if that is the reason Vujnovich is being brought back.
That, or the small dirty trick of making sure that Vujnovich contract was not guaranteed if he was on the roster week one.
Welcome back Jeremy, I’m sure we’ll see you back on the practice squad soon Darrell.
