Happy Friday one and all.

It is the end of the week which means it is time to discuss another 2020 NFL Mock Draft from around the web.

Today, we go behind the paywall at The Athletic and take a look at Dane Brugler’s newest 2020 NFL Mock Draft.

It’s two rounds, and I know it would have our friend Walter incredibly excited.

8. Arizona CardinalsTristan Wirfs, OT, Iowa

Investing in the offensive line is always a smart strategy if the talent warrants the selection and Wirfs certainly does with his big-man twitch and ability to stay balanced at contact. Kyler Murray steadily progressed as a rookie and to keep that development going, upgrading the offensive line would be a wise move.

40. Arizona Cardinals — Travis Etienne, RB, Clemson

I think we’ll begin to see a big trend of running back to the Arizona Cardinals this offseason in the later rounds and Etienne is a great fit (if the Cardinals don’t re-sign Kenyan Drake).

Etienne was a 4.43 guy out of high school at 5-10 199lbs. He’s now listed at 5-10 210lbs at Clemson and doesn’t look to have lost any speed.

Pairing Etienne with Wirfs means the K-Raid will continue to be a ground based attack, but that takes a lot of pressure off of a young quarterback.

We saw how it elevated Lamar Jackson’s game, it made a weak receiving corps in Green Bay work for Aaron Rodgers, how it helped Ryan Tannehill in Tennessee get to the AFC Championship Game (at least), and how it kept the Indianapolis Colts under Jacoby Brissett in the playoff hunt.

It would be interesting to see the Cardinals continue to focus on the offensive side of the ball early in the draft while working out the defense (something I am a fan of), but the top seven before AZ took Wirfs makes it a much more interesting discussion:

Cin - Joe Burrow, QB

Wash - Chase Young, Edge Rusher

Det - Jeff Okudah, CB

NYG - Jedrick Willis, OT

Mia - Tua Tagovailoa, QB

LAC - Justin Herbert, QB

Car - Derrick Brown, DT

Who would you take in that scenario?
