The world of sports was stunned on Sunday.
Not just the NBA, but the entire sports world was shocked to find out that longtime Los Angeles Lakers superstar and NBA legend Kobe Bryant was killed in a tragic helicopter crash that claimed the lives of Bryant, his 13 year old daughter and seven others.
It is a somber reminder of how fragile life can be.
While Bryant’s loss is obviously the headline, as a father it is even more devastating to hear about the passing of his young daughter and her teammate on Sunday.
You always hate to hear about accidents like this and the outpouring of respect to Bryant, the future Hall of famer was incredible to see on Sunday.
The Arizona Cardinals players were among those Tweeting out their thoughts and prayers and remembering the legacy of Bryant as one of the greatest to ever step on the basketball court.
Here is what the Cardinals had to say.
