Chandler Jones named AP First Team All-Pro

A special year for a special player is culminating in a number of post season accolades.

A day after being named the NFC Defensive Player of the Month for December, Chandler Jones was named as a an AP First Team All-Pro member as an edge rusher.

Jones finished second in the NFL in sacks in 2019, with 19, was tied for first in forced fumbles with fellow first teamer T.J. Watt and finished in the top ten for quarterback hits on the season.

Jones was a first team member with the AP and Pro Football Writers of America in 2017, his second season with the Cardinals.

He has now been named First Team All-Pro twice and a Pro Bowler twice with the Arizona Cardinals and was named a Pro Bowler one time with the New England Patriots.

Jones is four sacks away from 100 in his career and his currently fourth in active sack leaders behind Terrell Suggs (139), Von Miller (106), and Cameron Wake (100.5).

He is 41st on the All-Time sack list.
