Friday Fun Day: 2020 NFL Mock Draft is all about protecting Kyler Murray

It is Friday and that means another look at another 2020 NFL Mock Draft.

This one is courtesy of our friends over at SB Nation’s Mocking the Draft.

Dan Kadar took a look at the 2020 NFL Draft and what he thinks may happen, he has the first seven picks going in this direction:

  1. Bengals - Joe Burrow
  2. Redskins - Chase Young
  3. Lions - Jeffrey Okudah
  4. Giants - Andrew Thomas
  5. Dolphins - Tua Tagovailoa
  6. Chargers - Justin Herbert
  7. Panthers - Derrick Brown

It is actually funny, because there is little difference in Kadar’s top seven and that of Fox Sports 2020 mock that we looked at on Monday. Only Thomas changes out, with Isaiah Simmons falling (out of the top 10).

That leaves the Cardinals with a plethora of choices and they go for a right tackle, no not that one.

8. Arizona Cardinals: Jedrick Wills Jr., OT, Alabama

Somebody please block for Kyler Murray. He is one of this country’s national treasures. Imagine him making a jump in his development like Lamar Jackson did this season. Murray has the natural talent to do it, but he needs a lot of help around him.

Wills is an intriguing prospect, who is other worldy strong, and has been excellent in pass protection.

He’ll likely come into the NFL as a right tackle, where he lined up at Alabama.

What would you think of Wills at eight?
