It is Sunday in the playoffs and the Arizona Cardinals are unfortunately sitting at home.
That doesn’t mean there is not plenty to talk about, no instead we get another 2020 NFL Mock Draft from the guys over at The Draft Network, another two-round Mock draft at that.
Let’s take a look at what Kyle Crabbs had to say.
8. CeeDee Lamb
WR, Oklahoma
What can the Arizona Cardinals do to help boost the play of their young franchise quarterback Kyler Murray? How about selecting his favorite pass catcher in college with your top pick in the following draft? That should be on the table for the Cardinals and if it comes to fruition, Murray’s promising rookie season should serve as a solid springboard to bigger and better things in year two.
40. Austin Jackson
OT, USC
Another mock draft that feels like it gets the order right for the Cardinals.
You get an immediate difference maker at wide receiver and if you want to get the offensive line in order you do so with someone in Jackson who is probably a year or so away, but if you get him on day two, you can let him marinate and get ready to take over for D.J. Humphries on the franchise tag or Justin Murray/Marcus Gilbert at right tackle.
Not a big Jackson guy, but at 40 it would be a quality investment, I’d prefer Josh Jones at that spot if you are taking someone for 2021, but again, focus on the position, not the players right now.
Two players passed on that I like quite a bit: Neville Gallimore, another Oklahoma prospect, this one for the defensive line and Malik Harrison, an inside backer from Ohio State (I already touched on Jones who I like quite a bit).
What would you think?
