He’s back!
The Arizona Cardinals and the New York Giants have agreed to a trade for former Arizona Cardinals second round pick Markus Golden.
From the team:
Pending the passing of a physical, the Cardinals will acquire linebacker Markus Golden from the Giants for a sixth-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Golden (6-3, 260) is back with the Cardinals after previously playing four years (2015-18) with Arizona when he appeared in 46 games (24 starts) after originally joining the team as a second-round selection in the 2015 NFL Draft out of Missouri. With the Cardinals, Golden had 19 sacks, 119 tackles (97 solo), six forced fumbles and one fumble recovery, including a career-high 12.5 sacks with Arizona in 2016. Golden signed with the Giants as a free agent in 2019 and had 10 sacks and 72 tackles while starting all 16 games. He appeared in all seven games with the Giants this season.
