The Arizona Cardinals just aren’t there yet.
At the end of the day that’s what it comes down to.
They still struggle to put together consistent efforts, they were abysmal along the offensive line today and defensively, they made too many mistakes.
That in the end they had a shot to send the game to overtime is actually impressive, but at 6-3 and first in the NFC West in week 11, you can’t settle for a close game.
That is what will be the discussion the next ten days as the Arizona Cardinals fall to the Seattle Seahawks 28-21 on Thursday Night Football.
The Cardinals offensive line could not get a push in the run game and struggled in pass protection all night.
They again started slow on defense as well, which seems to haunt them every week.
They have ten days to prep for a big game against the New England Patriots, to make sure they stay in the NFC Playoff race.
Kyler Murray finished with 269 yards and two touchdowns passing, but the Cardinals were held to a season low 57 yards rushing.
On the flip side, the Seahawks rushing attack looked like the Cardinals, with 165 yards rushing in the game and that was really the difference in the game.
It’s back to the drawing board for the Cardinals as they fall to third in the division with the loss.
