Looking at the Arizona Cardinals offensive stats and projections through the bye week

NFL: Washington Football Team at Arizona Cardinals Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

For the first seven games of the 2020 NFL seasons we have had quite the roller coaster ride for the Arizona Cardinals.

It sent us into the bye week on an incredible high with a comeback win over the Seattle Seahawks to get the Cardinals to 5-2.

Through seven games, we have seen some incredible performances, let’s look at the leaders offensively and their projections heading into the rest of the season.

Kyler Murray - 169/253 66.8% 1,847 yards 13 touchdowns 7 interceptions 65 carries 437 yards 7 rushing touchdowns

Projections passing: 4,222 yards 30 touchdowns 16 interceptions
Projections rushing: 999 yards 16 touchdowns

Kenyan Drake - 119 carries 512 yards 4.3 yards per carry 4 touchdowns

Projections (we will assume Drake plays 16 games in these projections): 272 carries 1,170 yards 9 touchdowns

Chase Edmonds - 29 carries 176 yards 6.1 yards per carry 1 touchdown 26 receptions 222 yards 2 touchdowns

Projections: 66 carries 402 yards 2 touchdowns 59 receptions 507 yards 5 touchdowns

DeAndre Hopkins - 57 receptions 704 yards 3 touchdowns

Projections: 130 receptions 1,609 yards 7 touchdowns

Christian Kirk - 18 receptions 277 yards 5 touchdowns

Projections: 41 receptions 633 yards 11 touchdowns

Larry Fitzgerald - 29 receptions 207 yards 0 touchdowns

Projections: 66 receptions 473 yards

When you look at the numbers for the offensive leaders, it is a balance attack in the rushing department, while the Cardinals are definitely getting their worth out of DeAndre Hopkins in the passing game.

What stands out to you?
