The report dropped yesterday that the Arizona Cardinals had two positive Covid-19 tests during the bye week.
We were unaware of who the players were, until now.
Devon Kennard announced on his Twitter that he was one of the two players who tested positive.
I learned that like many others, I have tested positive for Covid 19. Thankfully, I feel completely normal so far. Please keep my family & I in your prayers as we navigate this. I look forward to being back on the field w/my teammates as soon as I am cleared & it’s safe to do so!

It is good that Kennard is feeling alright and unfortunate of the timing, but that is where we are at this time in our life. Some things are a bit more important than football.
Once Kennard is tested negative, he will be eligible to return.
The Cardinals, already missing Chandler Jones for the season, will rely on the newly reacquired Markus Golden, along with Dennis Gardeck and Kylie Fitts to fill in for Kennard.
Kennard has two sacks and two tackles for loss on the season. He missed both the Panthers and Jets games this season.
Let's hope it is only an isolated incident amongst the Cardinals and only the two players are lost.
