The Arizona Cardinals continue to take care of their tight end and linebacker corps while they wait for everyone to get back to 100%.
In that, they have made two roster moves coming out of their loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
From the team:
The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has released tight end Evan Baylis and linebacker Reggie Walker.
Both players were signed to Arizona’s active roster from the practice squad on Thursday in advance of the Cardinals game against the Seahawks.
We will see if the Cardinals bring both back to the practice squad this week, or what their overall plans are.
The team likely brought both to the roster due to the lingering injury concerns with Maxx Williams and De’Vondre Campbell as they want to make sure there is enough depth at both positions.
Hopefully Williams and Campbell can be healthy on Sunday against the New England Patriots and in turn Baylis and Walker can get back to the Cardinals practice squad.
