Who would have thought after eight weeks of the 2020 NFL season the Arizona Cardinals would not just be working for a playoff position, but would be in a great spot to control their future heading into the back-half of the schedule.

Let’s take a look at the 2020 NFL Playoff Picture for the NFC.

  1. Seattle Seahawks - 6-1
  2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - 6-2
  3. Green Bay Packers - 5-2
  4. Philadelphia Eagles - 3-4-1
  5. New Orleans Saints - 5-2
  6. Arizona Cardinals - 5-2
  7. Los Angeles Rams - 5-3

8. Chicago Bears - 5-3
9. San Francisco 49ers - 4-4
10. Detroit Lions - 3-4
11. Carolina Panthers - 3-5

The Cardinals sit with the sixth seed right now, but there is not a better position to be in than the fourth seed if you cannot win the top seed in the NFC.

Let’s be honest, would you rather play the Rams or Cardinals in round one or the Eagles?

The NFC is going to be interesting because two games separate the Seahawks and Bears, meaning from first to eighth.

The Cardinals have a great chance to make up some ground with the Saints traveling to Tampa Bay for Sunday Night Football this week.

Let’s go Cardinals!
