The 2020 NFL trade deadline has come and gone and the Arizona Cardinals stood pat.

After acquiring edge rusher Markus Golden for a sixth round pick the Cardinals decided that there was not much else worth trading for. Most of the NFL agreed.

There were small deals made, the Miami Dolphins who the Arizona Cardinals play on Sunday made a trade for DeAndre Washington because we found out today that Myles Gaskin will be out of at least three weeks for the Phins.

Now, outside of the trade for Desmond King, there does not seem to be any moves that the Cardinals could have made in order to improve.

That is smart, as this season is a strange one, but next offseason could be even more difficult to navigate.

With the looming reduction in salary cap, draft picks will be a premium, so trading those away for a player they have to re-sign would be difficult.

It was a quiet day for most of the NFL, as it always is.
