It was only Wednesday’s practice, but the list of injuries the Arizona Cardinals had was vast and a bit concerning.
Let’s take a look at the Cardinals injury report heading into their game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Cardinals are missing a number of important players on defense, starting with De’Vondre Campbell, Dre Kirkpatrick, Jordan Phillips (who has already been ruled out) and safety Jalen Thompson. That is a lot of starters who are missing the first practice of the week.
On offense, Chase Edmonds and Justin Pugh were on the initial injury report with ankle issues, which is a bit concerning as the Cardinals will need both in order to have a chance against a good Philadelphia Eagles defensive front.
The Eagles have some issues as well, as Avonte Maddox and Darius Slay are both missing with injury issues and offensive tackle Jack Driscoll is unlikely to play on Sunday.
Let’s hope both teams see an improvement in health coming up.
