The Arizona Cardinals announced on Tuesday that they have activated veteran wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald from the Covid-19 reserve list.

From the team:

The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has activated wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald from the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

Fitzgerald was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on November 26.

Of course in his absence the Cardinals are 0-2 as they have struggled offensively more than any other time this year.

Much of that may have to do with what Fitzgerald does as an intermediate target opposite DeAndre Hopkins and his work as a blocker in the Cardinals running game.

Fitzgerald on the season has 43 catches for 336 yards, which does not seem like much, but he is still second on the team in receptions, behind Hopkins and continues to be sure handed.

The other thing is, like Hopkins, Fitz does a great job of catching his targets, as he is above 75% catch rate on targets to him.

Welcome back, Larry. Let’s get back on the winning track.
