The health along the defensive line is nearly all the way back.

The Cardinals had been decimated by injuries along their defensive front, but today the team announced that the biggest signing of the offseason and the biggest man on their defensive line would be back.

From the team:

The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has designated defensive lineman Jordan Phillips to return from the injured reserve list.

Phillips can begin practicing and the team can activate him to the 53-man roster at any time during the next 21 days or at the conclusion of the three-week period.

On the season Phillips has been a bit quiet statistically, but his presence has been missed.

Phillips has two sacks, 10 tackles, one tackle for loss and two forced fumbles on the season, but he was a part of a defense that was playing well early.

Phillips has been out since his 12 snap game against the Miami Dolphins.

Welcome back, Jordan.
