Could there be a reunion in the desert for Kyler Murray coming?
At the NFL combine, players and coaches
The official NFL Draft twitter account sent out this comment from standout Oklahoma wide receiver CeeDee Lamb when asked about if he would like to be drafted by the Cardinals and be back again catching passes from his former Heisman-winning quarterback:
CeeDee Lamb says he’s met with #Cardinals and likes the coaching staff. He’d love to reunite with former @OU_Football teammate @K1. pic.twitter.com/UPHnAzUxoB

Lamb had a lot of quotes and used “honor” a lot (notably when also talking about playing for Jon Gruden) but here’s what he said when asked about Kyler:
The Cardinals have also met with other receivers, but this will be something to follow over the next few months.
Previously in an interview with Bob McManaman of the Arizona Republic, Murray stumped for “his guy” Lamb and has passed on his comments to the coaching staff, as before.
What did the coaching staff and scouting department think?
Hear it in their own words:
Kingsbury said Kyler Murray has made no secret of his desire to get WR CeeDee Lamb, his former teammate at OU, on the Cardinals. "He's his biggest proponent, that's for sure. He would take him No. 1, hands down."

Cardinals GM Steve Keim also seemed to note the team’s need for a wide receiver.
Just finished talking to Steve Keim. A couple of notes: He said team needs an outside receiver who can either take the top off defenses or be physical.

There’s not simply one option here, of course. The Cardinals have other needs on their defense or even their offensive line (despite Kliff Kingsbury’s positive comments about RT Justin Murray).
For the interview with Lamb at the NFL Combine, here’s a video in his own words.

On his relationship with Kyler Murray, what it would mean to be the WR1 in this draft and possibly going to the #Giants or #Jets. #NFLCombine pic.twitter.com/5GGJc9STpC
What are your thoughts, Cardinals fans? Lamb and Murray seem to both want to play together and Arizona does have a need.
Should the Arizona Cardinals reunite the explosive combo?
Or draft a different position at #8 overall?
Sound off in the comments!
