2020 NFL Free Agency: Best free agent fits for the Arizona Cardinals

NFL: Oakland Raiders at Denver Broncos Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Day one of free agency saw the Arizona Cardinals finalize a couple of moves we knew about during the legal tampering period, but also get another key piece on the defensive side of the ball.

After adding Jordan Phillips and Devon Kennard on defense, the Cardinals have added 16.5 sacks to an impotent pass rush.

Now the key is finding a couple of other pieces.

There are still some starter quality players for the Cardinals at what I would call need positions, let’s take a look at the best available players in 2020 NFL Free Agency for the Arizona Cardinals.

Shelby Harris, DE - Harris would be the crown jewel of an impressive defensive haul and give the Cardinals a complete transformation on the defensive side of the ball.

Eric Ebron, TE - May be a bit too expensive, but he would give the Cardinals the H-Back they need. He’d be a better, younger version of Charles Clay.

Derek Wolfe, DE - Surprised he is still available, thought he would be a quick veteran signing.

Mike Daniels, DE - Get a veteran fit along the defensive line.

Reshad Jones, S - Need a veteran safety that knows how to play the deep safety role.

Alec Ogletree, LB - Cardinals still have a need at linebacker, and Ogletree is not a great every down player, but he could give the Cardinals a chance to work in a younger guy if need be.

Who are some free agents you are still looking at?
