Arizona Cardinals get big boost in win total after DeAndre Hopkins trade

NFL: Denver Broncos at Houston Texans Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

One week into free agency and you are already seeing the growth in the Arizona Cardinals and the belief in the direction of the team.

Don’t believe me, just let the experts from Las Vegas tell you, these numbers are via BetOnline (www.BetOnline.ag, Twitter: @betonline_ag)..

The Arizona Cardinals opened the 2019 season under Kliff Kingsbury with a over/under win total of 5.5.

They went into the 2020 offseason at 6.5.

After one week into free agency, the Arizona Cardinals have had their win total moved up to 7.5 on the season.

That may not seem like a lot to some, but a whole game increase is a massive number in gambling and essentially asks if you think the Cardinals are going to be a .500 team in 2020.

If you got in at the 6.5 number you have to feel really good about your chances, but even 7.5 seems like a good line.

The one game increase is the most by any team in the NFL outside of Tampa Bay, who signed some guy named Tom Brady and moved from 7.5 wins to nine wins, or a 1.5 game change.

That is how much people think of DeAndre Hopkins, as only Tom Brady has moved the line more.
