With physicals passed, Hopkins for Johnson trade can now process

NFL: Denver Broncos at Houston Texans John Glaser-USA TODAY Sports

The Arizona Cardinals and Houston Texans trade can now be processed.

Last week DeAndre Hopkins passed his physical and today David Johnson passed his physical meaning the teams can now submit the trade to the NFL for processing.

It was always going to get done, the bridges of Hopkins and the Texans had been burned, but people like to create chaos when it doesn’t need to be there.

The Cardinals now will not have a second round pick heading into the 2020 NFL Draft, but there will be plenty of speculation about them acquiring one.

The main thing this trade being processed does is give the Cardinals and their fans something to be excited about.

Getting a three-time All Pro in DeAndre Hopkins, one or the best wide receivers of his generation will only help the growth of their Rookie of the Year quarterback Kyler Murray.

Hopefully we will see Hopkins in an Arizona Cardinals uniform soon.
