Happy Friday one and all, we have made it through another week of quarantine.
The Arizona Cardinals and the rest of the NFL are only six days away from the 2020 NFL Draft which is assured to be one of the strangest in recent memory.
Today we take a look at the 2020 NFL Mock Draft through the lens of a consensus.
NFL Mock Draft Database is doing a ton of work to pull a ton of names from all of the mock drafts from around the web and give us an idea of who is being mocked where.
The Cardinals pick is ironically one of the lowest in the consensus as right now, it is only 26.1% for Jedrick Wills Jr.
Second place is Tristan Wirfs at 24.1%.
The top seven per the consensus:
- Joe Burrow
- Chase Young
- Jeffrey Okudah
- Isaiah Simmons
- Tua Tagovailoa
- Justin Herbert
- Derrick Brown
So, the Cardinals sit with the choice of any of the offensive tackles, Javon Kinlaw and any of the wide receivers.
Interestingly enough, Wirfs (7) is the top tackle according to their consensus big bard with Wills Jr (9) second, Mekhi Becton (10) third and Andrew Thomas (11) fourth.
It is interesting to see how highly all of the offensive tackles are ranked, but there is no consensus and there is not one worth a top five pick per the consensus, which is a statement for sure.
However, the Cardinals take Wills Jr. through the consensus mock draft. Would you agree with this?
