With the Arizona Cardinals missing a second round pick, the pick in the third round is even more intriguing if the team doesn’t find a way to move back and pick up another pick.

That is why the names that they have been meeting with are so interesting.

One name that they have met with is Darrell Taylor of Tennessee.

Taylor didn’t test at the combine, which makes this a bit harder to do, but his stats help paint a picture.

From a size profile he is similar to Brian Orakpo and Rob Ninkovich who he also has similar production to over his career.

Ninkovich had eight sacks and 17 tackles for loss his senior season. Taylor had 8.5 sacks and 10 tackles for loss.

Taylor is a rocked up, physical player in the Orakpo mold, but plays closer to Nink as a pass rusher and athlete.

The question becomes is that worth a third round pick?

The Cardinals need something or someone who is going to have a chance to make an impact, Taylor has not been a high level producer though, which is a concern.

That is what makes you wonder if he is more than a “Get off the bus” guy or if he can bring it consistently in the NFL.

What would you think?
