Two picks in three rounds and of course an All Pro wide receiver from their second round pick thanks to the generosity of the Houston Texans.
After taking Isaiah Simmons with their first pick and then following that up with letting the draft play out in front of them to grab Josh Jones with the 72nd pick.
It was actually what good teams tend to do, sitting and waiting and letting the draft come to them and not being overly aggressive.
It lead to quite the opinions on their draft grades, let’s take an updated look.

The Arizona Cardinals drafting of Josh Jones has the media and draft analyst excited. It should also have the Cardinals and their fans excited.
Cautious optimism is great, but this is something to be excited about.
While the Simmons pick drew mixed reviews but mostly positive, everyone loves what the Cardinals did in getting Josh Jones in round three.
