There are plenty of questions for the Arizona Cardinals heading into the 2020 NFL season.
A number of those questions apply to how they will use their talent and in what order they will deploy that talent.
Pro Football Focus projected the Arizona Cardinals starting lineup, along with every other NFL team and it is interesting to look at:
Offense
QB: Kyler Murray
RB: Kenyan Drake
WR: Deandre Hopkins
WR: Christian Kirk
Slot: Larry Fitzgerald
TE: Maxx Williams
LT: D.J. Humphries
LG: Justin Pugh
C: Mason Cole
RG: J.R. Sweezy
RT: Marcus Gilbert
Defense
DI: Corey Peters
DI: Jordan Phillips
EDGE: Chandler Jones
EDGE: Devon Kennard
LB: Isaiah Simmons
LB: Jordan Hicks
CB: Patrick Peterson
CB: Robert Alford
CB: Byron Murphy
S: Budda Baker
S: Jalen Thompson
On offense, nothing surprising other than maybe Marcus Gilbert as the starting right tackle. However, you expect that to be the plan with him being brought back.
Defensively it is interesting to see only two down defensive lineman in Peter and Phillips, while rookie Isaiah Simmons gets the nos over veteran and newly signed and handsomely paid De’Vondre Campbell.
We’ll see how it shakes out in September.
